Scam alert: Visagio will only send messages using our e-mail domain

By: Visagio

Recently, Visagio’s name had been used by scammers in the USA pretending to hire people and make them pay for home-office equipment. Fortunately, the people who were approached understood this was a scam and contacted Visagio.

We want to highlight that Visagio has no office in the USA and we are not looking for employees there. Also, we do not ask future employees to buy equipment on our behalf. If you were affected by this case, we kindly ask you to inform us on hr@visagio.com.

We apologise to any candidates who may have been victim of this scam and let you know that we are doing everything that is under our control to make sure this situation does not happen again in the future.

We also want to ask everyone to remain vigilant and wary of responding to offers that are not genuine in order to prevent fraud.

In times like these, where online communications are happening more than ever, everybody must stay one step ahead of scammers.

A few precautions you can take:

– Confirm the sender’s identity before replying to e-mail requests and opening attachments or clicking on links, even if they appear to come from a legitimate source.

– Call us or message us to validate communications originating from Visagio. We will only contact you from e-mails of the Visagio e-mail domain (e.g. jane.doe@visagio.com)

All communication and offers coming from Visagio will come from a Visagio’s e-mail domain. If you receive any suspicious contact from another domain, please contact us at hr@visagio.com.

Stay vigilant.
