Following a period of growth, Visagio currently is looking for a Project Manager / Associate Partner to lead the delivery of Visagio client programmes and projects, build client relationships and support business development activities.
Core Accountabilities
- Act as Project Manager on client projects and lead workstreams for large-scale programmes, managing delivery to a high level of customer satisfaction and contributing to the development of our client’s operational strategy
- Support and coach team members to achieve team and individuals’ development goals
- Lead project planning, such as identifying and capturing project objectives; developing the project scope, benefits and establishing acceptance criteria; determining resources and performance expectations; assign project responsibilities; estimate timelines, identifying key project results and milestones; developing project plans and work breakdown structures, and communicating these
- Support the delivery of plans to grow an account further
- Support the preparation of project deliverables after project end for knowledge management within the company
- Support the preparation of project-related marketing materials following project end
- Proactively develop and strengthen relationships with existing, new and prospective clients
- Contribute to the development of client offers and services, including identifying requirements for new product/service development
- Support sales opportunities by writing discussion documents, tenders and proposals (often taking a lead role in this activity)
- Participate in the sales/interview stages of the project as needed
- Liaise with clients, consultants and the Partner responsible for resource management to mobilise teams to deliver projects
- Support the implementation of plans to acquire new clients, including writing and publishing of case studies/articles, presenting at seminars and conferences, and attending networking events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (engineering, mathematical or technical subjects preferred),
- MBA desirable
- APICS, CSCMP or other professional supply chain certification desirable
- Over 5 years’ experience as a project manager or consultant in top tier supply chain consulting firms, particularly in transformation, implementation and operational recovery
- Proven track record of delivering significant cost saving and revenue generation results
- Industry experience at least one of: aerospace and defence, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, transportation, mining, oil & gas
- Mathematical skill to understand and shape statistical and optimization models
- Strong Excel with VBA/macro skills, PowerPoint, Word
- SAP, 1C and/or other ERP experience desired
- Microsoft or other simulation and analytical tool development desired (e.g. AIMMS, Simul8, etc)
- Statistical tool desired (e.g. SPSS, R)
